Homecoming-September 27, 2008,
As you can see homecoming was last night.
Joan went with a really cute boy, his name is Josh.

These pictures were taken last month when all of our posterity were here. That in and of itself is a miracle. We had great fun being together. One of my good friends Paula Krebbs let us use her beautiful back yard for our pictures. As you can see we have the most beautiful grandbabies and they are all extremely well behaved. They get this from their great grandmothers. Who are both still living and loving. The bad behavior of their parents comes from their grandfathers, who are still alive and kicking. Family is what it really is all about.

Family Time

Wednesday, August 27, 2008

So I am now alone. Everyone has gone. My house is clean. I sleep all night. The washing machine runs only about four times a week. Whereas for a month and ahalf it has run four to five times a day. Quiet. No baby sounds, no handprints on my windows, no spitup on my shirts, no baby pee on my bed, no bottles on my counter, no diapers tossed into divers areas, no snuggling into the necks of sweet smelling angels, no goo goo sounds, no "Grandma, come and play with me". I am back into the swing of a one child at home, school's in session life and I am back to work at the high school. Funny how change happens so quickly. One minute every moment is full of family, the next you are alone and things are quiet. Change. Life. Family.

Family time

The month of August is family month. All of our kids are here with my grandbabies. All except for Joslyn and Connor and Kaydence, who are in Canada with Joslyns family. They will get here in a week and then we will be complete. Travis will be here the end of this week too. I really don't know how all of this has happened. 8 grandbabies. It is amazing to me. I will get some pictures of all of them as soon as Joan can put them on.
I blog about the same way I scrap book. So this might be a once in a great while.
The summer has flown by. I kept thinking that things would slow down but they just speed up.
We have corn, rows of corn. Beans, squash, tomatoes, watermellons, cantalope, and huge pumkins. I look out at our garden and want to pay someone to do all the work. I was not cut out of the pioneer pattern. Can't figure out why I am such a whimp.
Scott Stauffer left for his mission. He reminds me so much of my Brian. Good luck to his mom. The heart of a mother is ripped right out of their chest when those sons leave. Love you TL.
We had a great family reunion this month. My side of the fam. How did we end up with such great love for eachother? Must have something to do with our parents. We had a blast. Julie and Jen planned it all and it was so great.
Mary graduated with a degree in jurnalism two weeks ago. That was a miracle. Never thought she would make it. So much for a mother who knows the fruit of her loins.
Amy is training for a marathon. She keeps wanting me to run with her. I just fake stomach problems.
Can't think of anything else to put here. I am sure there is more to my life than this but the old steel trap is leaking. Plus I am tired. I am getting old.

New baby girl!!!

Hello!! I am a grandma again. It has been the best couple of days. On Friday Michelle went into Colette Pettie (sp?) to get reflexology done to see if we could hurry this baby up. And for all of you skeptics, it worked! Her water broke at 2:30 and they went into the hospital and at 5:30 she was at 4 centimeters. Well, I thought it would be most of the night and evidently so did Dr. Spencer because he was at his sons Karate thing and at 6:50 the nurse checked Shelly and she nearly jumped out of the room because she was dialated to 10!!!ANd the head was right there. Dr. Spencer got there at 7:25 and at 7:42 our little angel Julie Dee was born. She weighed in at 7lbs. 8oz. and was 19 in. long. Peach fuzz for hair and the cutest little chubby cheecks. All of you women just inhale and think of that heavenly smell!!

Amy flew in from Ohio with my little man Taylor William on Sunday and we have been kissing the ever living daylights out of him. He is the cutest, brightest little cherub. Sucks his third and fourth fingers and says everything you tell him to. I am in heaven.

This Saturday we head out for our cruise to the caribbean. Dutch islands. Steve is very excited to use his dutch. We are taking Joan too. She is so excited. I will take pictures and get this updated asap.

Incase we all die on our cruise, love you all and see ya on the other side!!!

The Johnson Family

Hi,
My name is Bonnie Dee Williams Johnson. This is my blog. I don't do things like this. I have no idea what I am doing. I am the one sitting on the couch. My husband Steve is taking the picture. He does not like his back rubbed at all. Our five children are sitting on the floor. Amy, Brian, Michelle, Mary, and Joan. I have been married for 30 years as of February 3rd. 2008. I have three very handsome and talented sons in law. Travis Nelson, (whom I adore) Kevin Swenson, (whom I also adore) and CJ Hanson, (Whom I adore as well). I have one really beautiful and talented and sweet daughter in law, Joslyn Henninger. (Now and forever a Johnson after the Henninger). These married children have blessed my life with my most wonderful and sweetkissing grandbabies: Cole, Anna, Taylor, Connor, Kaydence, Kaybria. Soon two more will be added, one in a few days and one in a few months. Both girls. These babies are the joy of my life. The last child is Joan, she is not married. She is 17 and will be 18 this year. This just about rips my heart out.

I don't work out of the home, but I do help out at Davis High School as their Musical Director. I have done 10 musicals and am looking forward to the next one. I love to sing and help others to find that joy as well.

I am into Yoga and I love it. I have a trainer that helps me to lift weights and to get my big rear end into gear. I want to run the marathon with my daughter Amy. Who knows? We'll see.

I am currently waiting for my daughter Shelly (Michelle) to give birth to another grandaugher. I sleep with the phone under my pillow. And I am watching the snow fall. Again!!!
